How to switch

From consolidated billing to flexible payment options, we offer a comprehensive range of services for large and multi-site customers. With more complex requirements, we will work with you to tailor these to meet your business needs.

If your business is eligible, switching to the Water Retail Company is easy. We take care of the whole switching process for you, so once you’ve received a quote and agreed the contract, you don’t need to do anything else.

There are 3 simple steps to switching:

Determine your supply information

Contact us via email or phone 020 3808 6608 to request a quotation.

It will be useful to have the following handy:

  • company name
  • nature of your business
  • annual water use/spend
  • site details
  • meter numbers (if possible and applicable!)

Responding to your request


We will review your site and supply details and will respond to you regarding your quotation request, including any further information we may need to process your request.

We will aim to come back to you within five working days, but this may take longer when we are experiencing a high volume of quotation requests.

Agree on your contract


Once we have received signed contract documentation from you, it should take no longer than one month for the transfer to TWRC to be completed.
